About Us

Here at Faith United Methodist Church, Woodbury, the people are the church.  The people of this church care for one another deeply.  And we love God.  We care for one another during tough times and we share in each other’s joys.  We have fun as we work together doing God’s work:  on mission projects, at fellowship events reaching out to the community and in small groups.  

Faith United Methodist Church welcomes newcomers with this same joyful and compassionate energy.  We are a growing, open, faith community committed to life-changing experience.  We are a warm, traditional church in the Woodbury community and we reach out to meet the needs of others.   We want to get to know you; your joys, your concerns, your prayer requests, your needs, your spiritual gifts.

Our church is centered in our mission “To make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.”  To be a disciple means living out a commitment to follow Jesus.  We do so through Faith’s vision… “Faith Church will be a disciple-making church by offering ways for people to come to faith in Christ, to grow in their faith in Christ, and share their faith in Christ.”

God created us to be in community with one another.  Connecting with a group of caring people will provide a place for you to come to your faith and build relationships, grow in your faith while learning, praying, asking questions, and share your faith with serving others so they may come to know Jesus Christ.
